When you use the Brood Discord application, Discord shares certain information with us, such as your Discord user ID, username, avatar, the IDs of servers and channels where the application is used, and the content of commands or messages you send to or through the application. What we receive depends on the permissions granted and Discord's own policies.
- Content you create. Text, settings, and other content you create or submit while using the Services.
- Technical information. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically log information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and request times for security and operational purposes.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
- To respond to commands and requests you make through the Discord application.
- To send you updates about Brood if you joined the waitlist. You can unsubscribe at any time.

- To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, security, or technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Services, including with:
- Service providers that process information on our behalf, such as hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, and AI or data processing providers, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- Discord, as necessary to operate the application on its platform.
- Legal and safety recipients when we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Brood, our users, or others.
- A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
- Anyone else with your consent.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our use of your personal information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, contact us at the address below. You may also remove the Brood application from your Discord account or server at any time, and you can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message. If you are in the UK or EEA, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United Kingdom and the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by Discord or the laws of your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party services
The Services operate on and may link to third-party platforms, including Discord. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle your information, and we are not responsible for their practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above. Continuing to use the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
